About
Technology Fits LLC is the independent technology consulting practice of Michael V. Pavuk. Founded in 2010, the practice serves professionals and small businesses who need a trusted technical partner to handle the tech side of their work.
The work has evolved over the years from Macintosh IT support for advertising agencies and creative firms to current work integrating AI and Claude Code into client workflows. The consistent thread across 30 years has been the same: practical, hands on technology consulting delivered one to one with clients who value experience and trust.
Timeline
1996: Began consulting work in Philadelphia building websites and providing Macintosh IT support. Moved to San Francisco during the dot com era to consult for advertising agencies, filmmakers, and post production houses.
1999: Joined Mann Consulting in San Francisco as an on site IT consultant at Goodby, Silverstein and Partners, one of the leading creative agencies of the era.
2006: Relocated to New York City to take the role of Head of Technology for Lloyd and Co, a fashion advertising and luxury branding agency featured in GQ Magazine.
2010: Founded Technology Fits LLC. Spent the first year developing GM and Chevrolet’s new advertising agency in Detroit for Goodby, Silverstein and Partners.
2011: Began providing website development, maintenance, and management services to local businesses and professional practices.
2012: Started Harbortouch Lehigh Valley, helping bars, restaurants, and retail businesses increase profits with point-of-sale (POS) & merchant services.
2016: Featured on the cover of Business Solutions Magazine for a customer centric approach to technology consulting.
2018: Harbortouch Lehigh Valley portfolio acquired by Shift4 Payments.
2019: Expanded Technology Fits to include local digital marketing and online presence work for small businesses.
2024: Continuing as an independent technology consultant with a focus on helping professionals and small businesses integrate AI into their work in ways that respect their privacy and add real value.
